Leave Marrakech at 8:00 AM for Ouzoud Waterfalls, about 150 kilometers away. You’ll ride an air-conditioned minibus, walk between viewpoints and pools, spot Barbary macaques, and take a boat close to the falls. Guides such as Mohammed, Sadeq Lahcen, Yusuf, and Imad lead in English, French, or Spanish. Lunch is extra, and the route includes steep steps.
“This trip was excellent for the value. The guide gave a good balance of time at each location, neither too long nor too short. They moved at a decent speed, which allowed us to explore the places without feeling rushed. However, be warned that the bus isn’t air-conditioned, so it can get quite warm. With the windows open, it was reasonably comfortable, though. Overall, this offers good value for money. Don’t expect a lot for the price, but that was exactly what we were looking for – mainly transport with a little guidance. We got to try some tea and nutty oil, visit multiple locations, and viewpoints. We didn’t bother…”
