“Excellent trip! Was great to not just get dropped off at Capri and to actually do a little panoramic tour on the boat before exploring Capri. Elena was a fantastic tour assistant, very informative and helpful with guidance of how to get around the island, and the map really helped us out! We had a wonderful day ☀️☀️”

Capri: Island Boat Tour and Optional Blue Grotto Visit

6.Island Boat Tour and Optional Blue Grotto Visit

★★★★★★★★★★3.8 · 296 reviews · 2 hours · from $34

From Marina Grande, cruise around Capri’s full coastline with an English or Italian-speaking skipper. Pass Tiberius’s Leap, Arco Naturale, the Faraglioni, and several sea caves. You may stop for the Blue Grotto, but the €19 entrance fee, weather, tides, and long waits are separate concerns.

“Stopped at all the grottos, passed thru the arch, our captain was very informative, capri island is stunning. Got to go in the blue grotto, cool experience. How they do it is they drop off everyone at the dock then you join another boat back to the blue grotto, only 10 min away, no extra cost except the grotto, be prepared for your boat guide to ask for a tip, kinda annoying. So the tour is 1 hour plus the wait for the grotto is another hour.”

Cruise Capri’s coast for two hours with a skipper and English or Italian guide. You’ll pass the White and Green Grottos, Natural Arch, Casa Malaparte, Faraglioni rocks, and Punta Carena Lighthouse, then stop to swim and snorkel. Snacks, soft drinks, wine, beer, prosecco, and limoncello are included. The Blue Grotto is not part of the tour.

“Very fun and such a beautiful tour all around the island of Capri. Everything done as detailed in the GYG description. Tour guide Alex and boat captain Francesco were excellent and accommodating. We did not go into the Blue Grotto as advertised, but that was perfectly fine as the grotto was closed on that day. We did swim in the beautiful blue ocean! We saw lots of fish using a face mask that one of the riders brought with them. So it was good that we had not expected that. I highly recommend this tour!!!”
